Dr. Benjamin A. Bross is the visionary architect behind the Monarca Tower project. He completed his PhD in History at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, having previously complemented his studies at prestigious institutions such as Harvard University, where he obtained his Master of Architecture, and the University of California, Berkeley, where he completed both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Urban Design. His solid academic background has allowed him to explore and apply theories on urban morphology and sustainable design in different projects and cities.
With over two decades of experience, Bross has built a solid reputation as an expert in land use planning and permitting in both Mexico and the United States. He is certified as a professional architect in California and holds the prestigious Commercial Properties (CRX) certification, reinforcing his expertise in the commercial and mixed-use development sector.
Dr. Bross’ passion for architecture goes beyond design; it extends into research and teaching. He has received grants and funding for research projects ranging from the urban history of Israel to the impact of earthquakes in Mexico City. In addition, his contribution to the field includes a number of academic publications and books, such as “The Zócalo of Mexico City: History of a Constructed Spatial Identity” and “The University of Illinois Memorial Stadium: The First 100 Years,” both published by Routledge in the United Kingdom.
